The
Living and Recovering Community (LARC)
- is a structured 15
bed residential stabilization program for men and women with HIV/AIDS and
histories of chronic addiction relapse. A LARC resident is typically
homeless or at risk of becoming homeless due to alcoholism and/or drug
dependency. All LARC residents are fully integrated into a program of
recovery. |
New
Victories - offers
alcoholism and addiction treatment over a 4 to 8 month period, to men with
health issues, such as HIV, a history of mental illness, or head injuries.
By offering the chance to stop abusing drugs and alcohol, New Victories
give these men the opportunity and the time to consider a new way to plan
more fulfilling and successful futures for themselves. |
Shepherd
House -
is a residential substance abuse treatment program for women. Shepherd
House is wheelchair accessible and smoke free. This 6 month program
accommodates up to 24 women and provides a bridge between treatment and
re-integration into community living, while learning to live drug and alcohol
free. |
Victory
House - a
4 to 8 month residential substance abuse treatment program for men from
all cultural backgrounds. Victory House has historically been committed
to providing treatment to individuals who are severely physically or mentally
impaired. We are also a leader in serving clients with HIV infection
and AIDS. No one is denied admission to Victory House because of
these attending health problems or needs. |
Women's
Hope -
is a 14 to 90 day residential treatment program serving women with long
and debilitating histories of drug and alcohol addiction, especially pregnant
women and women who have been court ordered to undergo substance abuse
treatment. |

The
Bobbie White House -
offers permanent, supportive sober and drug free housing to homeless men
and women of culturally and racially diverse backgrounds who are recovering
from addiction. The
Bobbie White House is a community health networking project that unites
the resources of the Commonwealth Land Trust and Victory Programs.

Cedar
House - offers
permanent housing for two families living with HIV disease. Victory Programs
offers off site case management and support services to the families residing
in these units. |
Joelyn's
Family Home - located on Long Island in Boston Harbor is a
beautiful, state of the art, short term transitional home for up to 25 women
in recovery and their children".

The
Portis Family Home -is
a shelter and transitional housing program which provides support for up
to seven families while they are participating in on-site addiction treatment
and comprehensive direct care services. The program will support
homeless families recovering from substance abuse and living with HIV/AIDS.

Victory
Transitional House -is
a supportive residential program designed to accommodate 6 single men living
with both HIV disease and addiction. |
Women's
Hope Transitional Home
-is a supportive community
that can accommodate 7 single women who desire to prepare for reunification
with their families/children. Special support and training for residents
in the areas of parenting, violence prevention, and negotiating with the
Department of Social Services are an integral aspect of this program.

Yetman
House - offers
housing to women who have successfully completed an alcohol and/or drug
treatment program. Through case management and addiction recovery
support from peers, the program seeks to empower each resident to maintain
systems of support while preparing for independent living.

The
Center for Health and Wellness
- is committed to
helping the mind, body, and spirit recover from the ravages of addiction
and to prepare for a life without drugs and alcohol. The Center for
Health and Wellness of Victory Programs provides alternative therapies
including acupuncture, Reiki and expressive art therapy.

The
Consumer Advisory Board -
The Victory Programs' Consumer Advisory Board (CAB) works to assist the
staff of VPI to ensure the highest quality of client care. The CAB
meets monthly, September through June, and has representatives from throughout
Victory Programs, including a combination of alumni and current clients.

The
Homelessness Prevention Initiative
- In Massachusetts, homelessness has reached crisis levels. Recent
studies show that every evening 1,600 families seek beds in emergency shelters.
As a result, The Boston Foundation spearheaded a $1 million community effort
for the prevention of homelessness. |
