Vision
Fostering a world where everyone has access to safe, healthy, and inclusive communities.
Service, treatment, support, and care for everyone, no matter what. That is the Victory Programs promise.
A History of Showing Up
Victory Programs has always responded to the moment and to the people most often left behind.
-
- During the height of the AIDS epidemic, we opened our doors to people living with both HIV/AIDS and substance use disorders when few treatment options existed.
- When incarceration was the default response for women deemed a danger to themselves or others due to substance use, we helped create a community-based alternative.
- We were early adopters of integrated care, allowing people on psychotropic medications into substance use treatment programs—recognizing that recovery looks different for everyone.
- In 2012, when the Boston Living Center faced an uncertain future, Victory Programs stepped in to ensure its members continued to have access to this vital community space.
At every turning point, our work has been guided by one question: Who is being left out, and how can we help?
