Years of Victory Society

Years of Victory Society Years of Victory Society

Amongst our generous supporters are over 600 donors who deserve special recognition. They have demonstrated an unwavering commitment to our mission for decades – some having made their inaugural gift as far back as 1993 and who are still giving to Victory Programs today.

Our Years of Victory Society is our way of recognizing those individuals who have been giving to us steadily for 10+ years. Thanks to their ongoing generosity, we can continue to help vulnerable individuals and families in crisis find shelter, sustenance, recovery, care, and professional, compassionate support.

To all of those part of the Years of Victory Society, thank you for your continued partnership! We are proud to honor the longevity of your support.

Learn from a few of our Years of Victory Society members why they continue to support our organization:

John N. Affuso, Esq., Years of Victory Society member, Inaugural Year 2001

I support Victory Programs because you change and save lives every day. You give people a hand up and help them live and thrive, with dignity and respect.

Frederick J. White, MD, Years of Victory Society member, Inaugural Year 2009

I support Victory Programs because you help people with addictions like my late son Michael.

Massachusetts Organization for Addiction Recovery (MOAR), Years of Victory Society member, Inaugural Year 2000

We support Victory Programs because of your longstanding outreach and support for the most vulnerable.

Dr. Inge Corless, Years of Victory Society member, Inaugural Year 1998

I have been doing HIV research since 1985. When I moved to Boston in 1993, I met with Administrators at the Boston Living Center and enlisted members of the BLC as participants in my studies. Thank you so much.

Janine Shahbaz, Years of Victory Society member, Inaugural Year 1998

I support the Boston Living Center because I volunteered at Encounters Dinner for several years with a group of friends from the Jesuit Urban Center Church on Harrison Avenue. I meet so many special guests, other volunteers, and employees of the Boston Living Center – Lee, Michael, Anthony, Kevin, and others. Memories forever in my heart.

John and Mary Brooks, Years of Victory Society member, Inaugural Year 1995

We support the Boston Living Center in memory of our son, David, who passed away in 1992, to AIDS.

Harry R. Collings, Years of Victory Society member, Inaugural Year 1995

Victory Programs has been a mainstay in our community, especially Jonathan – wonderful work all these years.
