We are so proud of you, Herb and Robyn! Thank you for choosing to #RunBoston and pledging to raise $7,500 each to #SupportVictory!
You can show your support for Herb and Robyn as they work to reach the last milestone on their marathon journey by donating to their marathon efforts here. Thank you!
|Veteran Team Victory runner, Herb Ouellette, joined us from his home in Poland, New York, for the 2nd year in a row. Herb has been a charity runner in four marathons, including the 2016 Boston Marathon! Herb has participated in the AIDS/Life Cycle, a 7-day bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles, six times to raise money and awareness in the fight against HIV/AIDS. Last year, Herb wanted to run the Boston Marathon for an east coast charity serving individuals living with HIV/AIDS and a friend recommended Victory Programs. We were thrilled to welcome Herb back to Team Victory for a second year! His support helps us in the fight to end the stigma, isolation and fear associated with HIV/AIDS.|
|First time Team Victory runner, Robyn Shepard, resides in Melrose, Massachusetts. The 2016 Boston Marathon was her first marathon! In Robyn’s words, “running Boston has been a personal goal of mine since I was a child; I traveled into the city to cheer my father on for many years, and he cheered on his father before that. I am happy to be able to help raise money for an organization I believe in at the same time.” Robyn is a monthly volunteer at Victory Programs’ Boston Living Center. She recently volunteered at our annual Celebration of Life Thanksgiving Dinner which provided a traditional Thanksgiving meal to over 600 guests – members of the HIV/AIDS community and their loved ones – many of whom would not otherwise be able to celebrate this important holiday. We are excited and grateful to welcome Robyn to Team Victory 2016!|
