Becoming a Member

All BLC services are free for individuals living with HIV/AIDS. Become a member today by calling to schedule an intake at 617-236-1012 to reach the front desk.

New Member Welcome and Orientation are available by appointment only.

PLEASE BRING THE FOLLOWING WITH YOU FOR YOUR INTAKE APPOINTMENT:

  • Proof of HIV Status (doctor’s note). We cannot accept test results or labs. We only accept verification letters signed by a doctor or nurse on hospital/clinic letterhead
  • Income verification (your income won’t limit your access to services no matter the level, even if it’s zero)
  • Photo ID
  • Proof of Health Insurance

* If you only have your letter of diagnosis we can start the intake process. We will work with you to acquire the other documents.

During intake, you will get a tour of the BLC and an overview of the Center’s services. It is also a time when the BLC staff and volunteers work with you to learn how you can best be served.
