Victory Programs provides innovative services to individuals and their families who are affected by alcoholism and addiction, and who have psychiatric and medical problems, especially AIDS/HIV disease.  Victory Programs promotes the successful reintegration of individuals into their communities through the achievement of long-term sobriety; the rebuilding of family systems; and stabilizing factors of housing, holistic healthcare, employment and community affiliations.

In addition to the following positions,
we are looking for per diem counselors to provide
substance abuse counseling for individuals and groups.

Housing Aftercare Specialist
Our Supportive Housing Programs has an opening for a Housing Aftercare Specialist. To be qualified, candidate must have five years or more of case management experience; current working knowledge of referral sources for housing, vocational and other relevant resources; sensitivity to addiction and recovery, cultural heritage, gender, sexual orientation, race, religion, medical and psychiatric conditions; candidate must also have strong organizational, writing and communication skills.
Senior Counselor
Our women's program, Joelyn's Family Home has an opening for a Senior Counselor. To be qualified, candidate must have a Bachelors degree and a minimum of three years of work experience in the field of addiction, HIV and/or mental health or a certificate from a recognized counseling program or course of instruction; supervisory experience  is preferred; knowledge of evidence based treatment models; knowledge of group facilitation skills; must have the ability to relate to clients in an instructive, supportive and compassionate manner; must have strong organizational, writing and communication skills.
Senior Counselor
Our LARC program, has an opening for a Senior Counselor. To be qualified, candidate must have a Bachelors' degree or a minimum of three years work experience in the field of addiction recovery with specific focus on counseling skills from recognized program or course of instruction; a minimum of one year supervisory experience; demonstrated ability to work in multi-cultural settings with diverse client populations.
Substance Use Disorder Counselor - Two Openings
Our women's program, Shepherd House has an opening for a Substance Use Disorder Counselor. To be qualified, candidate must have a Bachelor's degree or a minimum of one year work experience in the field of addiction, HIV, and/or mental health or a certificate from a recognized counseling program or course of instruction; knowledge of group facilitation skills or a willingness to learn; ability to relate to residents in an instructive, supportive and compassionate manner; must have strong organizational, writing and communication skills.
HIV Services Coordinator
The Health, Wellness, and Education Initiative has an opening for an HIV Services Coordinator. To be qualified, candidate must have a Bachelor's degree with three years of case management experience in the field of addiction, HIV/AIDS, homelessness and/or housing support services; demonstrated competence in service coordination and networking with regional human service and health care providers; must have strong computer skills including experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and the internet; a valid Massachusetts drivers license with a safe driving point of 98, 99, 00, 01, 02 or 03 is also required.
Part-Time Housing Services Coordinator
Our family shelter and transitional housing program, Portis Family Home has an opening for a Part-Time Housing Services Coordinator. To be qualified, candidate must have one to three years of client advocacy experience; demonstrated ability to work successfully in multi-cultural settings with diverse client populations; must have effective verbal and written communication skills; a valid Massachusetts drivers license with a positive safe driving point rating is also required.
Weekend Overnight Recovery Specialist - 16 Hours per week
Our women's program, Joelyn's Family Home has an opening for a Weekend Overnight Recovery Specialist. To be qualified, candidate must have a High School Diploma or its equivalent with a minimum of one year of work experience in the field of addiction, HIV and/or mental health or a certificate from a recognized program or course of instruction; experience working with priority populations; demonstrated ability to work successfully in multi-cultural settings with diverse client groups; must have the ability to work independently and cooperatively as a member of a team; a valid Massachusetts driver’s license with a safe driving point rating of 98, 99, 00, 01, 02, or 03 is also required.
