Welcome to Victory Programs Inc.
Our Mission: Victory Programs opens doors to recovery, hope and
community to individuals and families facing homelessness, addiction or other
chronic illnesses.
Thank you for visiting Victory Programs, Massachusetts’ leading
residential treatment and housing provider for homeless individuals and
families living with substance abuse, HIV and other chronic disease.
Founded in 1975, Victory Programs is a Boston-based non-profit that
provides housing and innovative, comprehensive direct care services to
individuals and families with specialized needs. The majority of our
clients are homeless, dealing with substance use disorders, mental illness
and other chronic conditions such as HIV/AIDS or Hepatitis C. Many of our
clients are women caring for small children and most are homeless upon
admission.
At Victory Programs’ our goals include providing our clients with the
tools to remake their lives, and to help them return to the community to
live independently. We help our clients develop life and job skills, seek
educational opportunities, find appropriate housing and employment, and
establish a web of support that will sustain them as they move toward
independence.
Victory Programs began in 1975 as a single program to provide a safe haven
for homeless men dealing with alcoholism. Today 18 very innovative and
unique programs located throughout the Boston area are under the Victory
Programs umbrella of services. Our programs include an operating Urban
Farm connected to homeless shelter for families and a housing Technical
Assistance program that serves 11 states down the East Coast from Maine to
West Virginia. Detailed information about all of our programs can be found
throughout our website.
Our programs have helped thousands of people transition from the
uncertainty of homelessness and unemployment to the comfort and security
of a safe home, self-sufficiency and lifetime stabilization.
We hope that as you browse through our pages you find our website helpful
and informative!
