Ruah House located in Cambridge, Massachusetts is one of Victory Programs newest additions to our housing division. Ruah House provides permanent supportive housing and stabilization services to seven women who are living with HIV/AIDS. In addition to off-site supportive services and general case management services through our Bobbie White Housing Services, Ruah includes staff presence around the clock.
Ruah House was originally created in the early 1990’s by Sister Jeanette Normandin to address the critical needs of homeless women living with HIV/AIDS. Named after the Hebrew term for “breath of life”, Ruah House officially opened in 1994. Ruah became a program of Cambridge Cares About AIDS in 2003. In 2009, through a strategic alliance Ruah House moved under the large umbrella of Victory Programs. Today at Victory Programs the original goals and mission of Ruah House live on
