Our story is a simple one. One woman,
one idea, one plot of land. Since 1990, when a small plot was reclaimed
in the heart of the city, reVision House has given shelter and hope
to pregnant and parenting homeless women - its Urban Farm growing
an appreciation of the land and the bounty it can offer.
Victory Programs' ReVision Urban Farm has transformed
over an acre of abandoned lots into productive and vibrant farmland.
Through the help of volunteers, community, and farm partners, we grow
and bring good, fresh, locally grown food, to our underserved community
of Dorchester, in Boston. As a community based non-profit organization,
we work with our neighbors, youth job-trainees, and volunteers from
greater Boston and all over the U.S. to do this. |
