Help Support |
Our programs provide care at almost every stage of a client’s recovery. A client may start in one of our short-term programs, graduate to a long-term program, and then move on to a transitional or permanent housing setting, or return to and live in the community and use our outpatient services. Not all clients start at the ‘beginning’ of VPI’s continuum of care. The agency receives referrals from hospitals, Massachusetts state-owned detoxification programs, short-term rehabilitation programs, housing agencies and the Department of Transitional Assistance. Our residential alcohol and addiction treatment programs, including Victory House, New Victories, Shepherd House, Women’s Hope and the Living and Recovering Community (LARC) are the bedrock of the services we provide. All residential programs provide specialized on-site support services such as case management, alcoholism and addiction treatment, life skills, and health education. Victory Programs has also developed a variety of supportive housing programs for recovering addicts and alcoholics. Several of these programs are transitional in nature, providing shelter for clients who have completed a recovery program and who are waiting for placement in permanent housing. The remainder provides permanent housing for clients or families where the head of household is in recovery and has HIV/AIDS. The supportive housing programs of VPI include the Bobbie White House, Victory Transitional House, Women’s Hope Transitional House, Yetman House, Cedar Family House, and the Portis Family House.
